Held on 1 December 2025 at Malcolm Hall, University of the Philippines Diliman, the event marked the launch of a thought-provoking series dedicated to advancing dialogue on justice, peace, and pursuit of liberty.

 

Atty. Christian Monsod, a well-known lawyer who served as COMELEC Chairman (1991–1995), one of the framers of the 1987 Constitution, and a man who fought to ensure fair elections to strengthen democracy, lectured on how law can promote peace, rights, and democracy, and that we must inevitably turn to the rule of law — a principle that ensures institutions are accountable, people’s rights are enforceable, and democracy is meaningful.
