NewsPCID and MSU-Maguindanao SIgned MOA on the EU and STAR Scholarships

On December 19, 2025, the Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy (PCID) President, Dr. Amina Rasul-Bernardo, and the Mindanao State University-Maguindanao (MSU-Maguindanao) Chancellor, Dr. Bai Hejira Sinsuat Macalandong-Limbona, signed a Memorandum of Agreement on the European Union (EU) Scholarship and the Santanina T. Rasul (STAR) Scholarship, at the PCID Conference Room in Diliman, Quezon City.
The scholarship programs aim to aid in the empowerment of women for peacebuilding, conflict prevention, and security in the Bangsamoro region by providing support to students of the Diploma in Women, Peace, and Security (DWPS) Program.
The grantees of the EU Scholarship and STAR Scholarship programs were formally announced through a virtual program last December 12, 2025.
