The Philippine Center for Islam and Democracy (PCID) expresses its sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the family, friends, and the people of the Republic of Indonesia on the passing of His Excellency Agus Widjojo, Ambassador of Indonesia to the Philippines.
Ambassador Widjojo was a distinguished diplomat, a decorated military officer, and an acknowledged advocate of peace and democracy. His commitment to fostering stronger ties between our two nations was rooted in a profound understanding of our shared regional challenges and a belief in the power of dialogue.
