The Maryam Movement aims to promote Mary/am as a bridge between Christians and Muslims.
As an interfaith initiative to rectify misapprehensions among various faiths, the Maryam Movement was conceptualized to be an advocacy to promote the Virgin MARY known as MARYAM (Muslim name) as a common icon serving as a bridge between followers of the Christian and Muslim faiths.
It aims to serve as a catalyst for dialogue between faiths as a way to dispel the misconceptions and false narratives about Muslims and their beliefs; thus, educating non-Muslims about Islam as a religion of peace.
The movement aims to raise awareness of the significant role of Mary/Maryam to followers of diverse faiths, thus promoting understanding among people of various cultures, religions, and backgrounds. The ultimate goal is to demonstrate that all faiths have common beliefs that unite them.
